THE AMAZON CONTEXT EXPLAINED IN TROPICS

The Amazon context for the study of English is based on the fact that the students needed a more effective contact with texts that approach regional themes, emphasizing the cultural and linguistic aspects of the people of this region. Considering that the IFPA, Itaituba campus, is located in the Tapajós, in the Amazon context for an interdisciplinary work. This is because, through the texts we have several information, in the scope of Geography, History, Sociology, etc. Such knowledge enables a holistic view of the subject and its relation with language and society.
